What is RankNest?

How the RankNest client workspace and its six SEO tools fit together, and where to start.

RankNest is an SEO platform built for agencies and consultants who manage multiple client sites. Everything is organized around clients: you add a client once, connect their data sources, and every tool works from that shared foundation.

The two dashboard levels

  • Agency level: your client list and account settings (billing, team, integrations). This is where you land after logging in.
  • Client level: open any client to get their dedicated workspace, which is an overview dashboard plus that client's tools in the left sidebar.

The six tools

  1. Link Mapping crawls a site and shows every internal link on an interactive canvas. See Link Mapping.
  2. SEO Testing runs controlled experiments on titles and meta descriptions, measured with Search Console data. See SEO Testing.
  3. Site Audit runs technical SEO crawls with issue detection and history. Its findings land in Issues; the crawl history lives one click on from there under Run history. See Site Audit.
  4. Message Mining mines customer reviews for the language that converts. See Message Mining.
  5. Content Mapping shows how top-ranking pages are structured. See Content Mapping.
  6. GBP Management schedules Google Business Profile posts and photos. See GBP Management.

Two surfaces tie the tools together at the client level, and they sit at the top of the client sidebar: Pages lists every page on the site with its metadata, traffic, and per-feature activity in one table (see Page Inventory), and Issues collects problems found by every tool into a single ranked queue (see Working with Issues).

Where to start

Tip: The fastest path is the guided setup wizard, which walks you through connections, a first crawl, and site structure in one sitting.

  1. Add your first client.
  2. Run the setup wizard.
  3. Connect Google Search Console. Most tools use its data.
